Holy Week 2005

March 29, 2005

Mommy and Daddy decided to stay in Manila for the Holy Week.  Too expensive (and maybe dangerous) to wander outside.  On Good Friday, we went to Ateneo de Manila to fly a kite (unsuccessfuly) and get Jeremy to walk.  Black Saturday was spent mostly at home.  For Easter, we went to 2 egg hunts — one at North Greenhills Ass’n and the other at Tito Dennis’ and Tita Grace’s home in Tierra Pura.  More pics here.

Maxie’s Graduation 2005

Okay.  It’s not her graduation.  The school calls it a “culminating activity.”  We’ve been going to one of these for the past 4 or 5 years already.  When will it end? For her part, Maxie had a great time.  For more pics, click here.

Maxie’s Clay Art

March 6, 2005

One morning about 2 weeks ago, Maxie woke up early and started playing with some clay given by her friend, Mika. Mommy and Daddy didn’t pay any attention and just went to sleep. She kept at it and until she made the pieces above. Dad was so excited about it, he took these pictures.

Jeremy and Cibo

Last Friday, Mom and Dad took me to Cibo in Greenhills.  To keep me busy while they talked, Dad handed me a focaccia (I thought it was just plain old toasted bread).  It was so yummy, I almost ate the whole thing.  At one point, Daddy took it away but I cried loud enough for the other people in the restaurant to hear, he gave it back immediately.  Yum!

Carmela Mariangela Miranda’s Binyag

Yesterday, we attended Carmela Mariangela’s binyag party at Gerry’s Grill at Blue Wave in the reclamation area. Carmela is Tito Marc and Tita Queenie’s new girl (sleeping in the stroller). She’s so cute! Click here for more pics of the party.

Maxie’s ICA Doll

March 4, 2005

Mommy surprised me with a doll she had made. It’s wearing an ICA uniform that I’ll be using next year when I enter Grade 1. It’s nearly as cute as me!
